SMS Filling & Distributing Gas (1989) Ltd.

The company was founded and registered in 1989. Throughout the years, its motto was honesty, reliability and quality service. It controlled 70% of the market under the Palestinian government areas. After the Oslo Agreement, the PA created a separation form Israeli registered companies & created its own authorized & controlled 30 stations for filling and supply of gas. Today, SMS still supplies 60% of East Jerusalem's gas. In addition, it is expanding significantly its activity in Western Jerusalem as well.

The gas filling & distributing facility in Atarot Industrial Area is owned by SMS. It is an example for the rest of gas facilities in the country. In terms of storage capacity, it is the biggest facility in the greater Jerusalem area. The equipment is the best there is & its efficiency is checked rigorously every year by different authorities. Since the foundation of Suntech holding company, SMS fills & distributes 12 kg and 48 kg gas cylinders only. The handling of big gas tanks (for apartment buildings & businesses) was transferred to the second company: Isragas (Ofeq) Ltd.
